- Bicuspid
Also known as a premolar, the bicuspid tooth has two cusps or points and is located between the incisors and the molars.
- Bite
The relationship of the upper and lower teeth upon closure, also referred to as occlusion.
- Bleaching
Bleaching the teeth is a form of teeth whitening whereby the teeth are bleached with carbamide peroxide to remove stains or a yellow appearance. Teeth bleaching can be done in the comfort of your own home with one of our custom teeth whitening kits.
- Bonding
Dental bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) is applied and hardened with a special light, which ultimately "bonds" the material to the tooth to restore or improve person's smile.
- Bridge
A bridge, also known as a fixed partial denture, is a dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth by joining permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants.
- Bruxism
Bruxism, also known as teeth grinding, refers to unconsciously grinding or clenching the teeth during the night. Bruxism can occur whilst your awake but this is rare. Treatment of bruxism involves having a nightguard fitted which will decrease the damage caused by bruxism.
