- Tartar
Hard calcium-like deposits that form on teeth and dentures.
- Temporomandibular TMJ
The connecting hinge mechanism between the base the skull (temporal bone) and the lower jaw (mandible).
- Third Molar
The third molar is the eighth tooth from the center of mouth, also known as a Wisdom tooth.
- Tooth Abrasion
The act of wearing down a tooth by means of repeated rubbing or brushing.
- Tooth Abcess
A tooth abcess is collection of pus, which results when the fluid is not able to drain.
- Trench Mouth
An infection which affects the gums; characterised by redness and swollen gums.
- Trismus
Restricted ability to open the mouth, usually due to inflammation or fibrosis of the muscles of mastication.
