Teeth Whitening Reviews Overall User Rating:
okay

purchased the £99 kit with custom impression kit. firstly, i had to request a second impression tray and set of putty. this was because even though i followed instructions carefully first time round, i failed to make an accurate impression. the amount of putty you make is way too much and overflows from the impression tray. the whole device is very large and caused me to gag the first time round. second time was a lot more successful however.
my moulds arrived 2/3 weeks later and they were more flimsy than expected, and didn't quite cover my lower canines. this would result in the top part of the tooth being whitened, but the base of the tooth didn't whiten as much.
i am a young, non-smoker who regularly avoids tea, coffee and red wine etc. also my oral hygiene is quite good so my teeth are healthy and not overly stained. as such i expected my teeth to show a good deal of improvement, and although initial results were good, after several weeks my teeth had digressed considerably back to their original colour. i can still see some improvement but the only people who have commented on the difference are the people who know about the treatment.
overall, having spent £100 i expected to see a more dramatic result. i even resorted to keeping the strong gel on my teeth for excessive periods (several hours at a time), but to no avail. pretty disappointed but at least i can see 'some' difference.

Dear Andrew Thank you for your review. We are dedicated in providing a first class customer service and would like the opportunity to rectify any issues. I have left a message on your voice mail and look forward to speaking to you in person. Unfortunately, some clients find it uncomfortable when taking an impression and may need to do it twice before getting an accurate impression. This is the reason we send out impression material, free of charge should you get it wrong the first time. The procedure is exactly the same when carried out and supervised by a Dental technician and therefore unavoidable in order to get an accurate impression of your teeth. I'm disappointed to hear that your lower whitening tray doesn't cover all your teeth. Whitening trays should cover all your teeth from top to bottom so that you get an even coloring. The more accurate your impression, the more accurate your whitening trays. I would like to redo your lower whitening tray, if you can email me the length of your lower front teeth, our dental technician can take this into consideration when redoing your bespoke whitening trays. The material we use for whitening trays is universal in any dental practice and are soft so that they fit comfortably around your teeth. Different people may experience different results and may need to persevere with a longer whitening treatment period to remove the intrinsic stains. As you were happy with the initial results, it would appear that you have intrinsic stains that need a longer whitening treatment. I look forward to speaking to you, please telephone our freephone number 0800 2941300. Our dedication to customer service is to ensure that you are completely satisfied.
Saved myself a fortune!

I've only really just started using this but already I have seen results and I'm impressed! Its nothing dramatic so far but it is a noticable improvement. I have fluoride staining (from my mum OD-ing the fluroide when I was growing up), combined with drinking tea and red wine had left me with yellowy teeth! Yuck! I've used the gel about 6 times now and already the yellow has faded to cream and so many people have commented on it. Plus I still have more gel left to continue. The service I have received from WTW has been speedy and reliable, I found making the mould quite easy and only a few days later the trays were back ready for me to start. Having tried overnight trays before which were uncomfortable, I found only having to wear these for 20 minutes a breeze! The only thing I would say is be very careful not to over fill the trays or you'll end up with the gel all over your gums and you don't want that!!! It isn't pleasant! I was looking at getting this done at my local salon and the cost was £595, so by doing it this way I've saved myself a fortune. I'm hoping that by continuing my teeth will get even whiter but if they don't I'm more than pleased with the result I have! I've recommended it to my dad and the people at work who are looking to do it as well. Reading this back it sounds like I work for WTW but honestly I don't! I'm just really pleased with the results and I know I always read reviews of products before I buy them so I hope this helps!

The customer service can’t be faulted and the product was delivered very quickly. Unfortunately the results I have seen didn’t match my expectations, I have used all the syringes provided and have seen little result.

Dear Neil Thank you for your review. I've left a message on your mobile as ideally i would need to speak to you to discuss your experience with our One Step, teeth whitening £49 kit. The results depend on a number of things. Firstly, the thermoforming boil and bite trays would need to have been a snug fit around your teeth, to prevent any whitening gel spilling out from the trays and diluted with your saliva. Should this have happened, the carbamide peroxide would be ineffective in giving you the whitening results. The speed of the whitening process depends on how stained your teeth are and your lifestyle. Don't forget that your teeth became stained gradually, over your lifetime. It is important to obstain from darkly coloured drinks, food colourings and smoking which are the main culprits for teeth staining. Following the guidelines of applying the 16% whitening gel for 40 minutes, twice a day you should certainly see a difference. I would be very happy to speak to you to discuss your experience in more detail. Please telephone our freephone number at your convenience (Freephone: 0800 2941300). I couldn't have asked for better service. Where do I start? Efficient, reliable, good communication, helpful and speedy! Even when we messed the mould up, the lady I spoke to was very helpful and even sent us a free kit. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend. Thank you
